On March 10, our team participated in two very different conversations about the future of AI infrastructure.

I attended Pitch to Peak in Vermont together with our CTO Nathen Hinson, where founders, investors, and researchers discussed how innovation ecosystems can grow outside the traditional technology hubs. We took spins at the period of a ski lift to pitch Concrete Engine to investors, policy makers, advisors to understand where Vermont and New England stands in AI and Data privacy. We talked about the discussions around MEGA data centers versus purpose built data centers.

At the same time, our colleague Jordan Jarrett represented Concrete Engine in Washington, DC at an event hosted by the U.S.-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce, where leaders discussed Azerbaijan’s ambitions to diversify its economy and invest in advanced technologies.

At first glance, Vermont and Azerbaijan might seem very different.

But both highlight something we see around the world: regions with strong talent, unique energy resources, and growing technology ambitions that often lack access to the AI infrastructure needed to compete globally.

This is exactly the gap Concrete Engine is working to address.

We focus on modular, rapidly deployable AI infrastructure that allows universities, research centers, and emerging economies to build local AI capability rather than relying entirely on distant hyperscale clouds.

The future of AI will not be built in only a few global hubs. It will be built everywhere.
